Terms of Service
The terms and conditions for using the Corvallis Plumbers website and matching network.
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Welcome to Corvallis Plumbers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of corvallisplumbers.com (the "Site") and our plumber-matching network. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
About Our Service
Corvallis Plumbers is a referral and matching network. We are not a plumbing contractor and we do not perform plumbing work ourselves. Instead, we connect Benton County homeowners with independent, Oregon-licensed plumbers who carry their own insurance and operate their own businesses. Our role is limited to facilitating that connection.
No Contractor Relationship
The plumbers in our network are independent contractors, not our employees, agents, or partners. We do not supervise, direct, or control the work they perform. Any agreement for plumbing services — including scope, pricing, scheduling, and payment — is strictly between you and the plumber you choose. We are not a party to that agreement.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Acceptable Use
- Provide accurate information when requesting a match.
- Use the Site only for lawful purposes.
- Do not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
- Do not copy, scrape, or reproduce Site content without permission.
Listings and Information
We strive to keep network listings, ratings, and information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee their completeness or accuracy. Plumber availability, qualifications, pricing, and service areas may change without notice. You are responsible for verifying a plumber's license, insurance, and suitability before hiring.
Emergencies
The Site is not a substitute for emergency services. If you face a situation that threatens life, safety, or property — such as a gas leak, fire, or flooding emergency — contact 911 or the appropriate emergency or utility provider immediately.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and our matching service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any plumber connected through the network will meet your expectations. We make no warranty regarding the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any plumbing work performed by a network plumber.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Corvallis Plumbers and its owners, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage arising from plumbing services performed by an independent network plumber, your use of the Site, or your reliance on any information provided. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corvallis Plumbers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and a network plumber.
Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and the Corvallis Plumbers name and mark — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable laws. You may not use it without our prior written permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted, as reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Benton County, Oregon.
